Disagree

Parents and teens aren't programed to think alike. This is the main reason why arguments and fights erupt. As of now me and my parents aren't doing too well. We have been fighting an outrageous amount and I am so confused. I have came to the conclusion that they are probably trying to be super strict on me because after I graduate I will be gone and on my own. They want to get their last bit of parenting in. It hurts really bad to know that you and your parents can't even talk without an arguement erupting. Maybe things will get better but I am counting down the days to graduation so I can finally be on my own and away from that.

Love my father❤️

This man has taught me so much. Every parent should teach you and let you go to learn from what they taught you. This man does that. I love my daddy.

Always right..

Teenagers, Have you ever found yourself saying "That's not fair " or "You must really hate me"? Do you know the reason why you probably said this? Well i'll give you the main reason why you said that. You didn't get your way. Trust me, I know from experience. Even though we may get mad and parents may get mad, we think they're wrong. But usually the truth is that your parents were right all along. Ever dated a guy that your mom didn't approve of? Well when he did something stupid to hurt you, who is the first person you went to? That alone proves that your mom was right all along. Be thankful if you have parents that actually care because some children out there don't have this and that is why they act the way they do.

Differences

Parents can all relate to this post. Children want to do one thing and parents want to do another. This is a problem that my family faces too. For example, when it comes to vacationing at the beach I prefer South myrtle. Because it's more live and young. My parents on the other hand would rather go to North Myrtle because it's more quiet and peaceful. I guess because of the age difference and the difference in things we like to do, it makes vacationing hard. I know I am not the only one who has an example of differences. Tell me about yours.

Growing up!

Yesterday was quite an emotional day for my mother. Her and I toured Lander University together and it was such a huge stepping stone in my life. Lander is my first choice of colleges, I have such an amazing passion to want to go there and the tour of it just made me want it ten times more. It felt so good to know that I made mama proud of me. She told me various times throughout the tour and in the car how proud of me she was. Seeing my parents proud of me and happy truly is my defintion of making a dream come true. I can't wait to be LANDER BOUND!
